Garós is born from the union of hope, knowledge, and motherhood. When you know something fantastic and can benefit others, you have to share it!

Since I became a mother five years ago (although it should have started during pregnancy), my perspective on life has changed. I've always helped others both personally and professionally, but the weight of my profession (family doctor) has often overshadowed my personal weight, and this was the first change on the path to motherhood. I decided to prioritize being a person and a mother (although all mothers know we tend to be at the bottom of our list of priorities), and I've been fortunate enough to be able to do so.

Regarding the question, have you left medicine? I don't think you can give up being a doctor. The knowledge and the vocation (as everyone says) are with me, it's just that medicine isn't my regular job right now. Since becoming a mother, I've learned so many things that I didn't know as a doctor (maybe that's an exaggeration, but that's how I feel), and I've felt the need to share them, but it wasn't until now that circumstances allowed me to do so (also my effort and dedication). As a family doctor, I only knew about foot pathologies (problems, diseases), and in most cases, when I saw them in consultation, there was little I could do (bunions to the orthopedist for surgery, fasciitis and spurs to "pray" and not lose hope, etc.). But when I discovered respectful footwear, I saw an open door that, over time, became a dream and has brought me here.

Opening this shoe store is the first step toward bringing my discovery to the people around me, giving them the opportunity to try on and buy this type of footwear, not just online.
